Hungary

Hungary first took part in the Eurovision Song Contest in 1994 and has entered 17 contests, most recently in 2019. Its best result in a final is fourth place, in 1994 with Kinek Mondjam El Vétkeimet by Friderika Bayer. Its highest score in a final is 200 points, in 2017 with Origo. Since the semi-finals were introduced in 2004 it has qualified for the Grand Final 10 times in 13 attempts, not counting years with an automatic place. The countries that have given it most points in total are Serbia (156) and Romania (136); it has itself given most points to the Netherlands (119).
