Ukraine

Ukraine first took part in the Eurovision Song Contest in 2003 and has entered 21 contests. It has won 3 times: 2004 with Wild Dances by Ruslana, 2016 with 1944 by Jamala and 2022 with Stefania by Kalush Orchestra. Since the semi-finals were introduced in 2004 it has qualified for the Grand Final 16 times in 16 attempts, not counting years with an automatic place. It has hosted the contest twice: Kiev 2005 and Kiev 2017. The countries that have given it most points in total are Lithuania (304) and Moldova (298); it has itself given most points to Moldova (169).
