Biggest winning margins in the Eurovision final

The largest winning margin in a final is 173 points in 2026: Bulgaria scored 516 points to Israel's 343.

The closest finish: 1991, decided by 0 points. A tie for first place is settled by the tie-break rules of that year, which is why a margin of 0 can still have a winner.

The margin is the winner's total minus the runner-up's total in the same final. Totals are not comparable across years: from 1975 to 2015 each voter gave one combined vote of 58 points, from 2016 the jury and the televote each give 58 points. Compare margins only inside one contest. 1956 (secret ballot) and 1969 (four winners) are left out; see the winners list for those years.
